"Historical Power"

An historic hydro-electric dam in England is being restored and will once again be generating power. The reasons for doing so are to preserve and protect the associated structures and to gain electricity from a renewable resource. The English Heritage organization produces an annual survey of the historical environment in England. This year, the Heritage Counts survey paid special attention to the effects of climate change.
