Nova Scotia Mashup

The other day in Digital History class, we had discussed mashups, in particular alternate uses for Google Maps. The Nova Scotia Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage has recently embraced this concept and is using Google Maps on their website NovaScotia.com. The Google Maps application is embedded into the website and is designed to aid in all aspects of vacation planning. Unfortunately, a visit to the site today proved that the map was impossible to locate. There was no announcement on the homepage and no obvious link in the maps section. Perhaps it has not been uploaded yet.

It is also worth noting that links to Nova Scotia on Google Earth are easy to locate on the website.
