Donating to Historic Sites

The Heritage Canada Foundation and the federal government are examining the potential of private donations being used to help preserve National Historic Sites. The government has proposed that a trust manage the transactions. The Heritage Canada Foundation has suggested that public funds be used to match the private donations.
