In an effort to increase the archaeological investigation of shipwrecks near Kingston, Ontario, Parks Canada has entered into agreements with a local historical organization to train divers in basic underwater archaeology. This will increase the speed at which the wrecks can be examined and is increasing the excitement around the upcoming War of 1812 bicentennial.
